Backstabbers (feat. Fedarro) lyrics

Lyrics

Chorus

Always smiling in your face yeah
They want to take your place yeah
And all we want to do is put on
The hate and the envy so strong
They posing as a friend they the opps
Gotta watch em all up in your business
Trying to count your pockets
Gotta watch for gotta watch for
Backstabbers

Verse 1

I was taught to move cautious
These days so full of darkness
Go to work before the sunrise
Overtime sweat through the sunshine
Coming home its almost night time
This grind take up so much time
Coming home to no respect
And attitude lead to regret
No At&t signal yet
See now we losing connection
And I'm strapped up for my Protection
They hate to see when we winning
As if I am the one who owe something
I be giving my all my best
And I don't expect nothing back
What I do it be out of love and be hoping they show it
Guess when they priorities straight
Then they'll probably learn how to act
But by the time that you do react shit I'm gone and no coming back
No opinions I'm spitting facts
But I'm still hooked on all of your love and be hoping I do relapse
But the time that you do react shit I'm gone and no coming back
No opinions I'm spitting facts
But I'm still hooked on your love and be hoping I do relapse
I'm hoping I do relapse

Chorus

Always smiling in your face yeah
They want to take your place yeah
And all we want to do is put on
The hate and the envy so strong
They posing as a friend they the opps
Gotta watch em all up in your business
Trying to count your pockets
Gotta watch for gotta watch for
Backstabbers

Verse 2

I don't how many y'all been through this situation
I know I'm one of a kind and work hard so I want to shine
Never to stunt on another
I be trying to lift up my brother
Working together we could be great
With more of us to split the weight
So much opportunity given
When your circle can all relate
All focused on common goals
Someone there to pick up a shot you might miss
They right at ya back to rebound and drive it right back
As a team we all for the cream
Better lives American dream
But there's always the one that scheme
Feel the hate cause they change the scene
All good energy fade away
They don't work but still want to play
Type of friend that can stay away
Cause before you become my Opp
I'll let you know you're wrong any day
That you learn to look past yourself'
Cause to win there's only one way
There ain't no I up in team
And I see that you just for yourself
The type that's known to backstab
Shit I'm just protecting my health
I know you hate what I'm saying
Like I hit right below the belt
But if I don't speak my mind
Then you'll never know how I felt
Then you'll never know how I felt

Chorus

Always smiling in your face yeah
They want to take your place yeah
And all we want to do is put on
The hate and the envy so strong
They posing as a friend they the opps
Gotta watch em all up in your business
Trying to count your pockets
Gotta watch for gotta watch for
Backstabbers
