Questions, answered
What does one-stop mean?
Propa Music And Arts Publishing controls 100% of both the master recording and the composition. One license from us clears everything; there is no label or co-publisher to chase.
What does pre-cleared mean?
The co-composer, Jan Richard Branicki (Dreamlife), has signed synchronization agreements covering film, TV, video games and advertising worldwide. You still sign a single license with us. The only extra step is the credit: "Music by Jan Richard Branicki (Dreamlife)".
Which files come with a license?
A signed license PDF plus WAV files: the main version, and on most songs a TV mix, instrumental and a cappella. Clean edits and cut-downs (:15, :30, :60) are available on request.
How quickly can I get a quote?
We aim to reply within one business day. Rush requests are welcome; put your deadline in the request form.
Are performance royalties included in the fee?
No. The fee covers the synchronization and master use rights. Public performance royalties are collected through the PROs (the writers are BMI), so please file a cue sheet for any broadcast.
What if my video gets a copyright claim?
Send us the link and we will clear it. Licensed productions can be whitelisted on request.
Can I make an offer below the starting rates?
Yes. Choose "Make an offer" in the request form and tell us about the project. Student, festival and non-profit projects can ask about reduced rates.
Do the streams on this page mean I can use the songs?
No. Streams are for evaluation only. A use is licensed once the written license is signed and the fee is paid.
